In order to strengthen the school safety work, improve the safety awareness of teachers and students, and create a safe campus, the west campus held an emergency evacuation drill on the morning of 14th November, 2022.
Before the drill, according to the actual situation of the school, the Department of Moral Education meticulously formulated the drill plan, and held a mobilization meeting of all head teachers and staff to clarify the requirements of responsibilities.
As the alarm sounded, the teachers immediately arrived at their assigned posts. Additionally, the head teachers rushed to the classes to instruct the students to evacuate to the safety areas of the school in an orderly manner. Evidently, the whole process was tense, orderly and practical, and the expected effect has been received.
After the safety evacuation drill, Principal Assistant Chen Peifeng made a summary of the safety evacuation drill, emphasizing the problems that should be paid attention to in the evacuation. Moreover, during the class meetings in the afternoon, the head teachers also held class meetings with the evacuation drill as the theme, which gave students a vivid safety education lesson, enhanced the safety awareness and self-rescue ability of teachers and students, and made them establish a self-protection consciousness focusing on ‘safety’.
